The Difference Between Ghosts Poltergeist and Demons

There has been a lot of speculation at the precise abilities and differences between ghosts, Poltergeist, and demons. It am writing this to try to shine a light on this confusing topic.

First, what must be understood is that ghosts are historically considered to be the spirits of dead humans. As to whether this is an accurate portrayal is up for debate. Mainly due to the muddled waters created perhaps on purpose by demons.

More on demons later. Here are the attributes attributed to ghosts. There are a few, such as the ability to drain energy sources such as batteries. They can, according to reports, drain life force in the same way the drain batteries. I suspect it’s the ability to manipulate electricity. That is their actual ability.

They suck in energy generally to manifest either audio phenomena. Or to appear. There have been reports of things moving such as doors slamming, items moving, or electronic devices glitching or being turned on or off.

Electric lights are often reported being turned on and off as well. To some lessor degree water taps are said to have turned on an off as well. Though it’s questionable whether this was ghost activity or other such as poltergeist or demonic activity.

This leads us to the second class of paranormal phenomena poltergeist . Poltergeist are often manifested in places if high emotional activity such as around teens whose emotions tend to be chaotic and strong.

However, I believe they can also manifest in places where domestic abuse, child abuse, or violence has occurred, such as murders have taken place.

I think this phenomenon has to do with the construction of a thought form. A thought-form is in Magick, a created energy being which in Magick is given a purpose and a time period to exist. As well as rules to how it received the energy to exist .

The problem is if such an energy construct is accidentally created. It has no rules or set purpose. Or time to exist. Its reason for existing is based on the moment of its creation.

Which is usually under violent, chaotic circumstances such as anger, violence, and angst. It manifests these emotions as violent outbursts of activity. Such as throwing objects, slamming doors, causing spontaneous fires, or harming humans.

Especially, this activity will occur around those whom the initial emotions were directed at or someone in a similar position such as if created by a teen, then adults in a parental position. Or against a teen in a brother or sister position.

These phenomena because they lack parameters become self-sustaining. Drawing energy from the environment similar to a ghost. And could theoretically become dangerous to humans. By drawing all the life force from an individual literally killing them.

Though they are not actual beings. They can and have taken on the characteristics of an actual person or even another phenomenon such as a demon. Which I suspect they do quite frequently.

Because they are self-sustaining, they can exist indefinitely. For decades or even centuries. And become stronger with time. As to their abilities, it has been reported that they can manipulate the environment. Move objects, doors, and faucets,turn lights on and off, and effect electronic devices.

They can affect humans draining them of their life force. As well as manifest as auditory phenomena or manifest and appear as shadows or people. Or other visual anomalies. Though again, the waters are muddied by demons, so actual abilities are only assumed.

Finally, we come to our third class of paranormal phenomena demons. Demons in religious context are fallen angels. Or lessor gods who possess abilities to teleport physical items. Move physical material. Manifest auditory, visual or is physically.

In conjunction with these abilities, they can possess or control human beings, sort of like viruses do with computer programs. Infiltrating the targeted individual and taking over their bodies and controlling that individual. They effectively become the individual.

Though the integration can have monstrous side effects such as massive health issues. Such a compromised individual possesses supernatural abilities such as heightened strength,mental capacity, and the ability to speak multiple languages they did not know. As well as the ability to defy physics. Such as walking up walls defying gravity.

They may also possess other abilities such as controlling or affecting electronics. Or animals, for such, is rumored to be attributed to possessed individuals. Their ultimate motivation for such actions is to control and eliminate the targeted individual and others if possible.

These beings apparently despise humans. Though their reasons for this animosity aren’t completely clear. Historically, it is supposed that such hatred stems from the fact that God raised humans above the angels. As such, they blame their current fallen state on humanity.

However, religious context aside. It is possible that the beings called demons could be something else entirely. A current hypothesis of mine is that either some or all of the beings we term as demons may be something else. Such as dimensional beings. Or beings from alternate realities. Or even extraterrestrials.

Their characteristics, including the fact they appear to feed the negative emotions of humans, lead to the assumption they could be other than the historically religious creatures.

I can agree that feeding off of human life force could point to fallen angels. However, if they were angels, they would possess their own power presumably. And therefore not require draining humans of their energy.

Religious demons are considered negative, evil, hate filled beings whose goal is to thwart God’s design by attacking humans and human culture and destroying it.

In some cases, this is the case. They are literally animosity personified. However, not all demonic manifestations are literally an anathema to humans. Some are simply annoying or a nuance to humans. In others, they just want to exist in a specific location. Their actions are simply to run humans away from that area

This implies that there are different phenomena at play in different areas. Which could point to different beings. Or perhaps even different levels of demons involved. Whatever the case, one thing is apparent.

Demons or demonic phenomena 5 not to be taken lightly. Or played with. These entities are dangerous in the extreme. As such should be dealt with care . Lack of information as to their exact nature makes them an unknown quantity and therefore should be avoided if at all if possible.

Conclusion: These entities possess widely different natures and abilities. As such, approaching any such unknown phenomena should be handedly with caution and consideration. Never assume that just because something appears to be one thing, that it actually is that phenomenon. Caution could save your life. Further, understanding and knowledge will ultimately shine light on this misunderstood topic.
